Story behind the sculpture
The beginning of the story of this sculpture was the pine tree root which the author, Vratislav found in the forest. He decided to save this part of the nature and bring it back as a transformation into the king of this forest – the deer. The circle of life in the forest was closed.
The pine root was cleaned, oiled and painted. The body of the deer was made of the different steel pipes.
The placement of the statue
It can be seen in the exterior of the Schrott Gallery.
